My Meeting with the Oregonian Editorial Board

This afternoon I had the opportunity to speak with a member of The Oregonian's editorial board to make my case for why they should throw their support behind me in this campaign.

Over the course of 45 minutes or so, I laid out the clear differences between my priorities and those of my opponent, House Majority Leader Wayne Scott -- and the clear differences between his rhetoric and his record.

We covered all of the major issues of the campaign and the State of Oregon. I don't want to get into the details because the endorsement process is still open (I was the first candidate interviewed in the race), but suffice it to say that I felt comfortable detailing my stances and explaining how I arrived at them.

As for The Oregonian's endorsement process, I do not believe we will know the outcome for another few weeks. In the meantime, if you are interested in endorsing my campaign, please go ahead and do so, and if you want to help out in other ways, please sign up to volunteer and make a safe and secure contribution to my campaign.
